Once a year, historic racing cars thunder around the Nordschleife and the Grand Prix circuit in the Eifel - the AVD Oldtimer Grand Prix is calling!
Once again this year, the organizers have put together a varied and exciting program:
- Grand Prix Masters (historic Formula 1 cars 1966-1985)
- Revival German Racing Championship (racing touring cars and GT 1972 - 1981)
- World Sportscar Masters
- 2-seater racing cars and GTs up to 1960/61
- Historic Grand Prix Cars until 1961
- Masters GT races until 1965
- AvD Sprint for T, CT, GT and GTS from 1972 - 1990
- Jaguar E-Type Challenge
- 21st AvD Historic Marathon endurance race for touring cars, GTs and GTPs up to and including 1965 (Nürburgring Nordschleife incl. Grand Prix circuit)
- Nürburgring Trophy endurance race for touring cars, GTs and GTSs from 1966 to 1971 (Nürburgring Nordschleife incl. Grand Prix circuit)
The horde of E-Types competing in the Jaguar E-Type Challenge will definitely be unique, but it's hard to pick out the highlights, the starting fields promise to be top-class and of course we all hope that the weather will be better than last year.
Zwischengas will be on site for the full three days, reporting on the blog during these days and, of course, once again providing a comprehensive and richly illustrated race summary.
