Creativity by Marcos

Marcos sports cars offered a whole host of amazing detail solutions; for years, the chassis were made exclusively from plywood and vehicle weights of less than 400 kg were realized.
However, the Marcos people were not only creative in the construction of the vehicles, but also in the design of sales brochures, as the folding brochure from 1970 proves, which was printed in over A3 format and whose back was decorated with more or less successful medium format slide strips. Impressive are not only the unusual perspectives, but also the vehicle colors, as an excerpt shows. The original brochure can be found here.
Incidentally, the folding brochure is dedicated to the 2- and 3-liter versions of the Marcos GT from 1970. At this time, steel had already largely replaced wood as a material, and bankruptcy followed just one year later. But it wasn't for lack of creativity!
