Alfa Romeo 33 Stradale - one of the ten most beautiful sports cars of all time
The Alfa Romeo Tipo 33 is one of the few vehicles of which there are more racing versions than road versions. While the racing cars were produced in impressive numbers, fewer than 20 cars of the Alfa Romeo 33 Stradale, the road version, were built, a dozen of them with the beautiful Scaglione bodywork. In some cases, only the chassis is said to have been built.
The Alfa Romeo 33 Stradale can rightly be considered one of the most beautiful sports car creations ever. And for its time, it was also top class in terms of performance, despite its small displacement. The sports car, which was only slightly dampened for road use, needed less than 6 seconds from 0 to 100 km/h. Forty years later, design elements are still being reused in new sports cars.
Driving a 33 Stradale is surely one of the biggest dreams of every Alfa Romeo fan.
