The largest collection of information about classic cars available online
When we go live with zwischengas.com in a few weeks' time, we will be able to offer information seekers over 850,000 articles and multimedia content.
This will include, for example, all weekly issues 1906-1980 of Automobil-Revue, which enjoys an excellent international reputation, and the technical data of practically all commercially available vehicles since the Second World War (and soon also from the period before), including roadworthy competition vehicles. This makes us probably the most comprehensive information platform on classic cars and historic racing in the German-speaking world and probably beyond. But we don't want to stop there! Over the coming months and years, we will be steadily expanding our pool of information with additional newspaper and trade magazine archives, car brochures, press documents, photo archives, operating manuals, etc.. Together with our network of specialist journalists, we also want to publish exclusive articles on interesting classics, exciting events and influential personalities, pulling out all the stops of modern multimedia possibilities.
However, a rich content archive is not enough, content must also be able to be found. We want to help our readers and users with various mechanisms. First of all, there are the overview pages, where articles are announced and priced. The search function allows access to all articles and archive content with just a few clicks, and the results can be filtered or refined by entering more precise search terms. For each article or archive content, related and interesting articles are offered for further reading, so that you can also find content that you might not have searched for yourself. Recommendations from friends or colleagues are a further navigation aid and finally the zwischengas.com newsletters and blog entries (opinions/insights).
There is still a lot to do! Also because we want to make the new prices of classic cars available across the board and publish current and past reviews. In addition, links to reports about each car in newspapers, magazines and books will also be presented on zwischengas.com.
However, the decisive factor is not the goals we set ourselves, but the requirements and wishes of our users. At the end of the day, we want to be a valuable and easy-to-use source of information for classic car enthusiasts and an entertaining resource for anyone interested in topics relating to classic cars and historic racing events. Whether we succeed in this will ultimately be decided by our readers, i.e. you!
