In den Nachkriegsjahren baute CarGem zwölf Rennsportfahrzeuge. Der Erstling wurde 1946 fertig und basierte auf dem Chassis eines Fiat 508 C von 1937. 1947 nahm er an der Mille Miglia teil. Dieser Bericht geht kurz auf die Geschichte des Fiat 508 C und seiner Vorgänger ein und beschreibt dann die CarGem-Variante in Wort und Bild. Abbildungen des Fiat 508 C Basisfahrzeugs sowie zwei Prospekte runden den Artikel ab.
