PARAMOUNT SPORTS CAR The "Paramount" sports car is primarily designed to meet the requirements of the discriminating motorist who appreciates the value of a car built in the best traditions of superior coach building practice. It embodies many features normally associated only with the most expensive models, whilst at the same time providing unusual economy with a pleasing performance, outstanding comfort and exceptional safety. Considerable thought has been given to developing a car of outstanding beauty. The design has been inspired by the best contemporary Continental styling but traditionally British characteristics have been retained—this merging of features has resulted in a car which combines both elegance and practicability. Particular emphasis has been laid upon those factors which tend to become more and more essential to modern motoring, factors which give the driver that all important confidence in the knowledge that he has a substantial safety margin at his disposal. The low underslung chassis gives a low centre of gravity and the extra long leaf springs and the light but positive steering give fine handling qualities that make for exhilarating driving which can be enjoyed in safety thanks to the extra large Girling brakes.
