... Marcos 1600 GT has all the finest qualities of British design and engineering. The low centre of gravity, light weight and high aerodynamic efficiency give superb performance and roadholding. Safety is an important integral part of the Marcos design. The hydraulic disc brakes and radial ply tyres ensure excellent hand ling, and within the extra strong monocoque construction there are additional features such as well placed safetybelt anchors, crashpadded panels and a collapsible steering column. The Marcos 1600 GT combines racebred response with luxurious grand touring comfort. Contoured bodyhugging seats with padded headrests, standard sunroof, spacious luggage compartment and clear allround visibility contribute to the pleasure of town or country driving. No expense has been spared on the beautifully appointed interior. Detail points include a mapreading/courtesy light, a lidded ashtray in the transmission tunnel, standard heating/ventilation equipment, enclosed glove compartment and roomy door pockets. The instruments (fuel/amps/water/oil/tachometer/speedometer in kph and mph with total and trip odometers) are extremely well placed for access and visibility.
