Which nobody really needs!

A picture taken by the Obwalden traffic police recently caused quite a stir on the scene. In Kerns (OW), an MG TC from the 1940s left its lane for inexplicable reasons and made contact with an oncoming vehicle. The MG was thrown into the meadow, where it rolled over several times until it ended up upside down.
The driver was thrown out of the car and thankfully only suffered minor injuries. There were no seat belts in those days, which was probably a good thing.
Accidents with historic cars are rather rare, as the drivers are usually much more careful than some new car drivers. However, foresight is always required, as the brakes are not comparable with today's standards and the chassis naturally does not offer any electronic assistance.
All this makes you love these cars and they also convey much more emotion than today's new cars. Nevertheless, you have to be aware at every meter that you are at a disadvantage compared to current cars, so always look far ahead, keep enough distance and drive defensively!
We wish you an accident-free journey on your upcoming tours!
