Did you recognize it? The distinctive "spinner nose" was the decisive detail. The automobile, which has not been mobile for decades and which Gerhard Schütz discovered while cycling, is a 1952 Ford Customline Fordor Sedan! Souvenir hunters have stolen the emblem. But the chrome-plated fitting that replaced the pointed jet fighter on the hood in Switzerland is still there. In general, the 71-year-old Ford is remarkably complete and undamaged. If only it weren't for the small rust spots here and there.
