Clear victory for the exotic (question of the week)
We would not have expected that. But it shows that Zwischengas readers have exquisite taste. In our last "Question of the Week",in which we wanted to democratically decide on one of the next driving reports, the Glas 2600 V8 (together with its BMW brother 3000 V8) received the most votes out of a total of over 600 with 28.2 percent. This meant that the "Glaserati" even beat out the noble Bugatti 35, which came in second place with 21.9 percent of the votes.
The fact that we didn't hit the bull's eye of the taste target with our remaining selection is demonstrated by the last place on the podium in the poll: a full 15.7 percent were unable to make friends with any of the models mentioned. This means that the alternative answer received significantly more approval than the first VW Scirocco GTI or the TVR Griffith 500, although it was still quite close between the two with 13.4 and 12.4 percent (82 and 76 votes respectively). The Opel Omega came in last with 8.3 percent (and no, not all of the 51 votes were cast by our colleague Krüger).
So, on behalf of the Zwischengas readership, we will soon be on the lookout for a well-kept glass of V8 so that we can photograph and test it extensively and then share our impressions with you.
