How memories are reawakened when you suddenly stand in front of the F2005, Michael Schumacher's former company car, again after 18 years. Although "Schumi" had to admit defeat to his Spanish colleague Fernando Alonso and the Finn Kimi Raikkonen in 2005, the driver from Kerpen nevertheless went on to win a total of seven world championship titles.
While we don't know how Michael is doing today, the Spaniard Fernando Alonso is currently experiencing his second spring. Three races have been run and the Spaniard has already won three trophies with the Aston Martin.
Backlit by the warming spring sun, the Ferrari F2005 showed itself from a much better side at the Techno Classica in Essen , where it was the only car to win the US GP, leaving Schumi far behind the 133 Alonso points with 62 world championship points.
