What is "Jägr Mister" or "Mid Seen"?

Even in France, things are not always as simple as you might think or believe. The food, for example, is not "nouvelle cuisine" everywhere, but sometimes simply "mauvais souterrain". Even historical racing sometimes has surprises and pitfalls in store.
For example, publications today - even historical articles or books from times when things were different and often better - must not contain any cigarette or alcohol advertisements. Everything has to be covered up or retouched. And so even in demo runs with classic Formula 1 cars, Jägermeister becomes "Jägr Mister" or Mild Seven becomes "Mid Seen"!
Now you can't defend yourself against the legal requirements - but at least you can implement them more elegantly. As a sponsor of McLaren-Mercedes in Hungary, the cigarette brand "West" once switched to "East". In France and the other countries where cigarettes are banned, the first names of the drivers were changed. Marlboro was able to dispense with the lettering altogether. The red and white triangle was all too familiar. At Camel, all that remained in the end was the camel.
