Change of scale - Jaguar XK8

When we recently photographed the Jaguar XK8 convertible in blue, I remembered that I had bought a model of it at some point. After a quick search, I found it gathering dust on a shelf. I must have bought it "back in the day" for my son and obviously the Maisto 1:24 scale model spent a hard life in the nursery, because one rear wheel (left) was lost.
Over the next 20 years or so, the blue model car (equipped with marginally steerable front wheels and side doors as well as an opening hood) gathered dust and became a miniaturized barn find.
P.S. In the photo above, the model was subsequently copied in, it would be significantly smaller compared to the full-grown XK8, to which we dedicated an extensive driving report a few days ago.
