In fact, this compact MG 1100 flew an impressive thirteen meters. It couldn't do it entirely without aids, but 30 cm high ramps and 50 to 55 km/h had to be enough to achieve this record distance for family cars at an American "jumping derby" in 1965.
As we know, these Hydrolastic small cars (ADO16) are much more talented when it comes to jumping than many other cars, but we'll tell you about that another time ...
