Stress? Take another look at an old car magazine
Current reporting in the daily newspapers, but also in specialist magazines, is dominated by topics such as corona or electromobilization. In any case, it's hard to relax while reading them. But there is an alternative. Let's just dig out an older magazine. And leaf through it. While researching, I came across issue 6/1996 of Auto Focus magazine. It covered the history of BMW M, four designers and their privacy, Land Rover Defender, Ferrari F355 and 275 GTB, Mercedes-Benz SLK, Bentley 4 1/2 Litre and much more.
A double page was also dedicated to our photographer Daniel Reinhard, who caused quite a stir with a very special photo of Nelson Piquet.
At the time, Auto Focus magazine was published by photographer Peter Vann, with contributions from Adriano Cimarosti, Michael Köckritz, Jürgen Lewandoski, Wim Oude Weernink and several others. The busy team was not short of ideas, for example each editor was individually photographed with the Ferrari F355.
25 years later, the magazine is at least as much fun to read as it was back then. After all, great importance was attached to well-made photos and most of the cars covered are now classics. Even the advertisements are fun! And the next time you look at your watch, it's already an hour or so later ...
P.S. You can't read this magazine online at zwischengas.com, but you can find the table of contents and the cover page in the media library. ..
