A special meeting - almost like back then
You could have made a guessing game out of it. Which two cars are we talking about?
They were built in the same period and both have become icons. You are likely to find people who insist that both are the most beautiful cars ever built.
That's right, we're talking about the Lamborghini Miura and the Jaguar E-Type, which are shown in reverse order on the Italian Autostrada.
The Series 1 E-Type and the Miura were built at the same time, although the E-Type had a few years head start, as it was presented in Geneva in 1961, while the Miura was launched at the same venue five years later.
Conceptually, however, the two cars were representatives of different eras. Despite its modern design, the E-Type represents the classic Granturismo of the post-war era, while the Miura was the trailblazer for super sports cars, in which a mid-engine, many cylinders and massive power were, so to speak, standard equipment.
They are both unforgettable at the wheel and anyone who has had the chance to drive either of them will consider themselves lucky!
