Emotions are crucial when buying a classic car (Question of the week)
There are very few people who buy a classic car completely soberly, weighing up all the known facts; the heart is usually involved. Or is that not true, we ask ourselves. And instead of pondering this ourselves, we simply passed the topic on to our readers asthe " question of the week" , wanting to know what the decisive factor is when buying a classic/young classic car.
The surprise: Nobody seems to buy a classic/youngtimer purely on the basis of economic considerations. There are obviously always emotions involved.
For almost half of the 400 respondents, it is (almost) exclusively emotions that speak in favor of the purchase, the heart must beat faster.
Equally often, i.e. in 48 percent of the responses, it is a mixture of emotional and economic criteria that are weighed up and then lead to the purchase.
Two percent of respondents gave no answer at all.
This result actually proves once again that buying a classic/young car is a matter of the heart. And either no hard-core investors took part in the survey, or they too listen to their heart.
Of course, the results are also available in graphic form:
We have already asked a new question of the week. This time we want to know the maximum length of a daily stage in a classic car rally?
And, of course, you can still look up the results of all the previous questions of the week in the dedicated topic channel.
