Classic pearls of the future - Alfa Romeo Giulia QV

If you look at how enthusiastic the new four-door Alfa Romeo Giulia QV was when it arrived, it is already clear that the top model is destined to become the classic pearl of the future.
However, not everything went as smoothly as Sergio Marchionne had originally imagined when he announced the new model range in 2014. The start of production of the Giulia had to be postponed several times, insiders even rumored that Alfa Romeo was running out of money even before the first vehicle had been produced.
However, the people at Alfa Romeo managed to pull it off and the high-performance Alfa Romeo Giulia QV version drove right into the hearts of Alfa fans from 2016.
With around 510 hp, a weight of around 1300 kg and an acceleration time of less than four seconds for the sprint from 0 to 100 km/h, the not-so-fine car competed with the performance models from BMW (M3/M4) or AMG. In terms of styling, it was convincing anyway, and when you started it up, its powerful engine sound was impressive.
The QV version was followed by less expensive models, which hardly looked any less good, but of course drove significantly slower.
It is not yet known how well the QV version will sell, but it certainly appeals to the heart, while in terms of performance and in sober testing it did not simply become the new top dog. But that shouldn't really worry the collectors of tomorrow, especially as the Giulia QV is even available with a manual gearbox, ...
