Turning old into new - the rebirth of 25 Land Rovers

It's hard to believe, but this Land Roverwill soon look like new again. Not only will it look like new, it will actually be a new car.
Land Rover Classic announced its "Reborn" initiative at the Techno Classica 2016 , as part of which 25 Series 1 Land Rovers (with a short wheelbase) will be completely rebuilt for wealthy customers. As proof, the first result of the work was shown on the stand in Essen.
25 Series 1 chassis are carefully selected and purchased and then completely rebuilt in Solihull to factory specifications using original parts. As a buyer, you can not only choose the base vehicle, but also the color, e.g. Light Green, Bronze Green, RAF Blue, Dove Grey or Poppy Red. Customers are also constantly kept up to date on progress.
We were able to (completely) photograph two of the base vehicles that will be created as part of the program and we will try to keep track of them over the next few months until they find a new owner. Both cars were still running under their own power! They will now be shipped to Solihull where work will begin as soon as a customer has chosen them.
