Scotch without ice and soda, but with air cooling
In 1985, the Austrian Citroën importer launched a special model of the 2 CV Spécial, called "Scotch". The name had nothing to do with the drink, but much more with Scotland, as the pattern on the flanks was reminiscent of it.
100 units are said to have been sold at the time, at a unit price of öS 77,777. The equipment of this special duck corresponded to the normal red 2 CV 6 Spécial version, with the exception of the carefully crafted decorations, which meant, among other things, round headlights and the absence of door hinge covers, interior lighting and ashtray. However, many owners are likely to have upgraded their special duck at a later date.
The "Scotch" duck was just one of many special models. There was also the well-known Charleston variant or the 007, Perrier, France 3, Dolly, Spot and Bamboo models, along with many others.
