Will we see something like this again soon?
In 1985, Alfa Romeo published full-page advertisements showing the then current Alfa Romeo 33 together with the Alfa Romeo 33 racing car of the sixties and seventies.
The marketing people wrote at the time: "The fact that the most successful Alfa Romeo racing car of the seventies is the namesake of the Alfa 33 is no coincidence. After all, the Alfa 33 contains all the sporting tradition and experience that Alfa Romeo has to offer ..."
Now, technically speaking, the Alfa 33 was an Alfasud and therefore miles away from the Alfa Romeo 33, which was victorious on many racetracks around the world, but at least they remembered their own tradition in Milan and used it in their advertising.
Alfa Romeo could do this again now when it comes to presenting the new Giulia. After all, the Giulia is also known to have very well-known ancestors with the same name. Perhaps we will soon see advertising subjects with the Giulia TI Super and its modern descendant together?
