When car seats were still allowed to be fabricy, fluffy, colorful and soft

Many years ago, it was considered particularly comfortable if you could sink into the seats in the car and sit as comfortably as on a sofa. The French were particularly fond of this type of seating and these seats were also popular with drivers and, above all, passengers. They often looked comfortable even from a distance, were upholstered with colorful and skin-hugging fabrics and were dressed in bright colors. At the time, lateral support and long-distance comfort were just as little an issue as seat ergonomics for drivers' skeletons worn down by everyday office life. It was primarily the perceived comfort that counted.
But that was a while ago, so we think back fondly when we leaf through the brochure of a Citroën DS , for example, or even enjoy a ride in this legendary car( called the goddess, la Déesse).
