Well, of course. If you look closely, you can see that the scale of the Ferrari California pictured is obviously not 1:1 but 1:18 in the case of the model built by CMC. But you have to look pretty closely.
On November 15, the model car shown won the title "Model Car of the Year", the Oscar of the model making industry, so to speak, awarded by the magazine "Modell Fahrzeug".
The winners were chosen by the readers in 22 categories, with the Mercedes-Benz 300 SL from Premium Classixxs winning as the largest model and the SLS Roadster from Herpa and the BMW 2500 from Brekina as the most beautiful among the smallest vehicles.
Model cars have become increasingly detailed and elaborate over the years, but this also comes at a price. For the winning Ferrari California from CMC, you have to fork out 337 euros.
