Hermann Burgers Ferrari Mondial Cabriolet
10/05/2012
Anyone who has studied Swiss literature will certainly be familiar with the author Hermann Burger (1942-1989). With works such as "Schilten", "Brenner" and "Die künstliche Mutter", Burger also gained international recognition and won various awards for his literary work.
Burger was also a fan of fast cars and his preference was for the red sports cars from Maranello. Among other things, he owned a Ferrari Mondial Cabriolet and even dedicated a chapter to the fast Italian sports cars in his book "Brenner": "Ferrari humanum est".
Now the ex-Burger Ferrari Mondial from 1987 will be auctioned off on October 13 at the Salzhaus in Wangen a/A. The estimated price of CHF 35,00 to 42,000 sounds moderate in view of the mileage of 34,500 km. However, this hot-blooded sports car is in need of some attention.
More about the "Classic & Exklusiv Cars" auction on October 13, 2012 can be found in the announcement reporton Zwischengas.
