At the Nürburgring, Mercedes-Benz Motorsport boss Norbert Haug invited BMW Motorsport boss Jens Marquard for a few quick laps in the 1981 Mercedes Benz 500 SL rally car.
The 300 hp rally car was then mainly driven around the Grand Prix circuit.
There can be no debate about Norbert Haug's driving skills, as drifting is one of his absolute strengths. A spin in the last bend before the start and finish was naturally included.
But both bosses enjoyed the laps and left the 500SL with a big grin on their faces.
