The "other" rarities - just as valuable and worth protecting!
A Sunbeam (Hillman) Imp or an Opel Rallye Kadett B, when do you see these cars at a classic car event? Next to all the Mercedes-Benz 300 SLs, Porsche 356s or Ferrari 275 GTBs, the little Sunbeam would really stand out, as would the ochre-colored Kadett! And they are just as rare these days as the famous and celebrated classic cars from Sindelfingen, Zuffenhausen or Maranello.
But it takes a real fan and brand enthusiast to restore such a vehicle to its original glory. Because the potential increase in value will certainly not be the reward for the effort, only the heart and the joy count here.
But when you sit down in one of these vehicles or look at them up close, a hundred things come to mind, memories of first driving lessons, childhood trips or hours spent studying sales brochures and car magazines come flooding back.
We at Zwischengas love these everyday exotics and we admire their owners, who keep such vehicles alive out of pure love and without any economic reason or objective. And that's why we like to devote reports to these cars, such as the Sunbeam Imp and the Rallye Kadett, which we will be doing soon.
