Why "more" is not always "better" - cars and motorcycles on intermediate throttle
The Zwischengas team keeps asking us about the two-wheeler scene: "Why don't you do anything about motorcycles? Even after events where the six bikes rode together, the two-wheeler faction is disappointed that they are not actually noticed on Zwischengas.
In fact, from our point of view, the car and motorcycle scenes are two completely different camps. There are few fans who are at home in both worlds and our team is definitely not one of them. It's hard enough to keep track of the cars. We simply don't have the knowledge or the contacts in the two-wheeler "community" to cover motorcycles as well, so we would never be able to satisfy this readership's thirst for knowledge to anywhere near the quality we aspire to. In addition, the majority of the archive material available to us is focused exclusively on cars. And without archive material, reports are not real Zwischengas articles.
Nevertheless, we are by no means at war with motorcycles. On the contrary, as a photographer I always find the double effect of six wheels in one picture totally fascinating. For example, a Bugatti 35B met up with a Motosacoche for a photo shoot at Klausen in 2002. Not only did all the participants have a lot of fun, but the tourists who happened to be traveling over the Klausen Pass also stopped and watched enthusiastically as we arranged the two vehicles.
