Bread-and-butter cars from the seventies and eighties have classic potential
The Citroën 2 CV and VW Beetle have already made it. But according to Zwischengas readers, the VW Polo, Opel Corsa, Renault 5 and Fiat Panda also have the potential to become genuine and sought-after classics.
A total of 70% of respondents to the question of the week ""Bread-and-butter" cars of the seventies as classics with cult status?" agreed that there is no reason why these once common cars should not be just as sought-after tomorrow as Beetles and 2 CVs are today.
The other 30% or so, however, disagreed, probably assuming that there are simply too many of these cars, that they were not individual enough and that they lacked charisma.
Well, we'll know in 10 or 20 years' time. What we already have to realize today is how difficult it is to find well-preserved and original examples of these cars, and this is unlikely to improve in the next few years.
We would like to thank the respondents for their participation and have already posed the next question of the week , which focuses on the topic of lead-free with or without additives.
And, all previous questions of the week and their evaluations can be found in a separate topic channel.
