What or who was Eucort?

Everyone knows the Ford Escort, but what is a Eucort?
Eusebio Cortes SA was a Spanish car manufacturer that existed between 1945 and 1953. The aim was to launch a "Volkswagen" on the market and was based on the DKW of the pre-war years. Four-door saloons and a three-door estate were offered, each with a 764 cm3 two-stroke engine, around 24 hp and front-wheel drive.
Around 1500 Eucort are said to have been produced. So the claim to build a car for the people probably came to nothing.
And how did we come across this rare brand? We generated our new brand directory and while browsing through the various brands, we came across the Eucort and learned something new.
If we are missing any stamps (up to 1994), please let us know and we will be happy to add to the list.
