... interiors have a host of civilized touches. Corollas have more room inside. Sedan's interior measures 1700mm. (66.9in.) from upper instrumental panel to the rearmost rear seat back. And width is 1290mm. (50.8in.), so there's plenty of hip, arm and shoulder room. Which means long trips can be enjoyed in completely relaxed, stretchout comfort. Front seats are contoured bucket type with integral head restraints and they offer ideal support to hips and back. Fullreclining buckets are standard on 2-door and 4-door Deluxe Sedans and all Coupes. The semireclining type front bucket seats are standard on 2-door and 4-door Sedans and Station Wagons. All front seats adjust fore and aft up to 160mm. (6.3in.) so even the tallest can ride in relaxed comfort with plenty of legroom. Rear seats are deeply foam cushioned and there's abundant height, width and legroom for rear seat passengers. All seats are upholstered in luxurious vinyl and floors in Deluxe Sedans and Coupes are covered walltowall with plush nylon carpets. The pleasure of the Corolla's interior is heightened by an efficient flow through ventilation system that brings in plenty of fresh outdoor air and circulates it.
