Artificial intelligence is not yet a big topic for classic car enthusiasts (Question of the month)
Everyone is talking about AI (artificial intelligence) and it has been one of the most important topics in the press for months. More and more people are only finding out about AI applications and queries, you can read. But is this also true for classic and vintage car enthusiasts who want to find out about old cars?
With a "question of the month" , we wanted to find out how Zwischengas readers deal with artificial intelligence in the context of historic cars.
The slightly lower participation in the survey alone, with just under 220 readers responding, shows that the topic is less engaging than others.
65.8% of respondents stated that they have not used artificial intelligence to date, but rather read magazines and online information sites, at most doing a Google search to find specific information.
23.7% occasionally use AI/AI summaries from Google or sporadically seek advice from ChatGPT or Claude, but still see conventional sources as a reference.
Only 9.1% stated that they frequently use AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude or Google AI to get to their destination faster. Only sometimes is more necessary, usually what AI tools offer is sufficient.
And 1.4% were unable to answer any of the questions.
Overall, classic car and youngtimer enthusiasts are still skeptical about the new AI aids.
