Property of a lady

Normally, I care relatively little about a Ford Mustang. In my eyes, it's like the Porsche 911 of American cars: everyone knows it, everyone wants it, everyone has it. Yawn. And then suddenly this 1966 coupé appears on bringatrailer.com : Springtime Yellow? Parchment-colored upholstery? Manual transmission? Six-cylinder?! First owner?!!! With every syllable of the advertisement, the boring car becomes more interesting.
It must be like this, the Mustang that even I would buy. And I would, too, if I had the money and the space – if only to spare it the usual fate of a V8 implant and Magnum 500 wheels. Nevertheless, there is one thing I would change: I'd ditch the whitewall tires. So that it really looks exactly as it did when the first owner took delivery of it.
