The old and the new Bullit-Mustang, or at least almost
03/09/2018
The crime and action film "Bullit", which was released in 1968, is probably remembered by many people for two elements in particular: Steve McQueen played the grumpy policeman Bullit, who chases a black Dodge Charger R/T 440 Magnum in his dark green Ford Mustang GT 390 Fastback in one of the longest movie chases.
Two Mustangs were used for the filming at the time; they were long thought to have been lost, but have resurfaced over the years.
Ford has now presented the "Bullit" edition of the current Ford Mustang at the Geneva Motor Show.
It goes without saying that the original car was also placed on a pedestal. However, it was rumored in Geneva that this was not the original car, but a vehicle of the same type in the famous green livery.
Anyway, the old Mustang stole the show from the new one, at least in our opinion.
We will be reporting on the Geneva Motor Show in more detail soon.
