Making electric driving fun
We don't want to imply that driving a modern electric car shouldn't be fun, but we recently had the opportunity to drive a classic car electrically in a completely unconventional way. A completely new experience!
The old and unrestored Jaguar could only be pushed and instead of doing this with muscle power for photo shoots, we had an electric aid at our disposal that goes by the nickname "ant".
You simply drive this device in front of the car and then lift the front axle of the vehicle using a kind of pincer function. From then on, you can maneuver the slightly raised vehicle with the ant. There is a rotary wheel for accelerating and a tiller with two handles for steering. It's almost child's play and, as mentioned earlier, it's even fun, although of course we still prefer to sit behind the wheel and drive rather than pull.
