They try again!

In 1966, the Ford GT 40 won the 24 Hours of Le Mans three times. The superiority of Ferrari had been overcome. And the Ford GT not only won in 1966, but also for the following three years, until Le Mans finally belonged to the prototypes, at least for a few years.
To mark the 50th anniversary of the legendary victory, Ford wants to try again in 2016 with the new Ford GT. Not with the prototypes in the LMP1 class, but with the GTs, after all.
We are excited and have already enjoyed the fantastic film that the Ford crew had made and edited for the announcement. It shows the old and the new car.
Of course, we would have appreciated it if the 50-year-old GT 40 had also been driving through the streets alongside the new Ford GT ...
And we think it should come as no surprise that the old GT 40 looked better, but today the laws of GT racing require different vehicles (and aerodynamic aids) ...
