Behind a gate in a side street

On a city tour to Lisbon, as a big classic car fan, I don't miss the opportunity to take a closer look at alleyways and corners. I am particularly fond of old, small garages. I discovered an open door in a side street and took a closer look at the dark room.
A large, dark vault opened up behind it. My eyes first had to adjust to the darkness. Then I discovered this beautiful vintage car, jacked up in this fabulous setting. On closer inspection, I also found the workbench that went with it. I felt transported back years and pulled out my digital camera to capture the scene for posterity. The pictures speak for themselves.
The company is still working today. Even a car with a Hamburg license plate is maintained here.
It's fun to take a closer look and makes for great vacation memories.
