The big station for a Lotus Elan in Michaelskreuz
The new SwissClassics Revue 45/5/2014 magazine was a big topic of conversation in the paddock at the Michaelskreuzrennen in Root.
The Lotus Elan portrayed in the booklet is taking part in the commemorative drive with starting number 375. The demand for the magazine was so great that the box of magazines we had brought with us disappeared into thin air in no time.
There was plenty of time to read it, as impenetrable fog clung to the finishing slope in the early hours of the morning. There were further delays because a two-wheeler participant was struggling with acute heart problems.
In the end, the sun finally came out and the heart regained its former strength thanks to immediate help.
The first day, with the three mountain rides, was completed on schedule to the delight of all participants and spectators. Enthusiasm and enthusiasm were high.
