A few decades ago, the range of Alfa Romeo cars on sale was more extensive than we could dream of today. The Swiss importer placed advertisements with the title "These 10 are ready for you".
And indeed, there was everything from a small sports coupé (Sprint 1300, 14,450 francs) to a super sports car with which you could win races at the weekend(Giulia 1600 T.Z., 24,450 francs).
There was the luxurious Gran Turismo (2600 Sprint, 27,850 francs) and the hot family saloon (Giulia t.i. super, 17,900 francs), but of course also the sunny Spider (Giulia 1600 Spider, 13,950 francs) and and and ...
And what did the Alfa salespeople write?
"Alfa Romeo - a household name for connoisseurs, but a dream for everyone! As sports and touring cars, the Alfa models meet the highest demands of all motorists accustomed to luxury and class."
Yes, it was a long time ago, 50 years to be exact.
