The 10 commandments for the Goggomobil pilot
The German company Glas produced a "scooter-mobile" on four wheels from 1955 to 1969. At the time, this small car could be driven with a motorcycle license.
The "10 commandments for motorists" are doubly funny as they are not aimed at sports car drivers with around 200 hp in their necks, but at Goggomobil drivers with a maximum of 20 hp!
The first bid is already a curiosity, as friends' vehicles could range from an MG A to a Mercedes 300 SL. By the 5th bid, despite a good power-to-weight ratio (approx. 450 kg), the 20 hp limit becomes very tight! Enjoy the imagination of the Goggomobil representative from the canton of Bern at the time.
Zwischengas will shortly be devoting a longer article to the scooter with many original documents.
