What else is (still) out there?
11/09/2025
It was a while ago, but it was on a day I'll never forget, because I picked up my Graham-Paige from the seller on March 2, 2022. I had organized a car transporter and the whole thing went off without too many complications. As the car had been parked for a while and was not yet properly set up, I didn't want to take any risks and didn't want to transport the Graham on its own wheels.
While we were loading up, a young man joined us - the chauffeur, the salesman and me - and said that he had been watching us and that there was something similar in his garage, an heirloom from his father. Just a few seconds later, he opened the door of a single-car garage and revealed a 1918 Packard Twin Six with junk draped all around it, as if for a photo! I suspect the car is still there today and will be for a while, as the owner had no concrete plans for it and the car has supposedly been parked there since the 1970s.
Somehow it is reassuring to know that it is still possible to come across true treasures - even in the most modest single garage.
