Relaxation for the eyes

Shiny silver with their turquoise-colored windows, they are somewhat reminiscent of the clockwork-driven Prämeta cars. However, the nine Americans are not advertising toy models, but a feature of the great role models: They are all fitted with "E-Z-Eye" windows from Libbey-Owens-Ford Glass in Toledo, Ohio, whose green tint was designed to filter 65% of UV rays from sunlight.
This not only prevented the interior from heating up excessively. The driver was also significantly less dazzled, which in turn caused less eye strain. However, it was not only the glass that relaxed the optic nerves, but also the cars themselves. A direct comparison of the front views clearly shows how much calmer the products of the three independent brands were designed.
