175 years of vehicle history in one room

From now on, two special exhibitions can be admired in parallel at the Swiss Museum of Transport in Lucerne. One is 75 years of Porsche and the other 100 years of MG.
While a Porsche sports car (types 356, 911) has not changed fundamentally, the 100-year history of the British company has undergone far greater changes. From Cecil Kimber's "Old Number One" to today's Chinese electric products, a lot has changed. In the 1950s to 1970s, the British brand MG was the talk of the town, especially with its T series (TC, TD and TF) and later the wonderful A and B models.
The vehicles from Abbington also enjoyed great sporting success, most notably the 6-cylinder supercharged K3 model from 1933, of which only 32 were built.
A wonderful overview of the work of the English brand can be admired with 42 different vehicles at the Swiss Museum of Transport in Lucerne from now until April 2024.
