How do you choose the right street lamp? You compare them with others. The people of Munich did this in 1962 in a private parking lot to test the lamps for their suitability.
In Switzerland, too, entire streets were equipped with different lights, which could then be switched over longer distances to compare the different lamps.
When was the last time we saw something like this?
