I sit, therefore I am

What should not be missing at a really good classic car meeting? The sausage stand? The parts dealers? Even music or a speaker?
I have come to the conclusion that the camping chair is just as important to me as the things mentioned above. This is because it makes it possible to observe what is happening around you while you position yourself clearly in relation to your car. This makes it easier for visitors and other interested parties to ask questions and gives you that little bit of space. The car also gets this space, so why not the person who belongs to it?
For me, the camping chair is also the epitome of comfort. Perhaps it is not necessarily an expression of intellectual philosophizing - even if this is also possible with it, and even better if there is a second one next to it - but I see its existence more in terms of peace and contentment.
And I believe that the camping chair creates an ideal connection between the classic car owner and his environment. So from now on, I will always carry a folding chair in the trunk of my car at future meetings. And because I recently came across another one exactly like it at a thriftstore, I'll even have two in future. The stool, as shown in the picture, has therefore had its day.
