If you look at the passing automobiles of the car manufacturer BMW today, you will mainly see black, gray and white models. Fifty years ago, when the first three-series (BMW 316-320i, E21 models) came onto the market, this was completely different. There were three shades of green, three shades of red, yellow, shades of blue, shades of brown/beige and many more. The cars were really colorful back then, a yellow BMW 320 was just as rare as a bright green one.
A look at the color chart from 1975 also shows poetic tendencies, however, as the colors had names such as Inca, Polaris, Fjord or Taiga. Simply beautiful!
