Swiss Historic Vehicle Days 2026 - but out with the classics today!
The last weekend in April is all about the historic vehicle. The Swiss Historic Vehicle Days are intended to celebrate and honor them. The aim is to showcase as many classics on two, four and even more wheels, because commercial vehicles are also included. So the best thing to do is to take a short drive today or tomorrow. But if you just can't make it, it's worth parking your classic car in front of you today instead of in the garage. As I said, visibility is crucial.
The Journée Nationale des Véhicules d'Époque was launched in 2017 by the French umbrella organization FFVE, theFédération Française des Véhicules d'Époque, to mark its 50th anniversary .
The Swiss Historic Vehicle Federation (SHVF), which was formed from the two umbrella organizations in 2015, proclaimed a national day of action for historic vehicles based on the French model for the first time on 27 and 28 April 2019.
With various club outings and meetings, the umbrella organization's delegates' meeting and a list of other activities , this weekend of April 25 and 26, 2026 will also belong to the classics. So if you're now feeling like you should have registered somewhere, you can rest assured. The most important thing for today is to get your old bike out into the sunshine!
