Honda S800 - the son of a Grand Prix winner
Between 1966 and 1970, Honda built the S800 as a coupé and convertible. In contrast to its predecessor, the S600, which was only occasionally seen in this country, Honda also sold the speedster in our latitudes with some success. Anyone who heard it was thrilled, because its engine revved up to 9000 rpm and even significantly higher if necessary. And this was at a time when Formula 1 engines delivered their maximum power at well below 10,000 rpm. Where have they gone? Albert Obrist and his Ferrari collection

Ferrari Mondial 3.2 - entry with added value

Audi 200 Turbo Quattro world record car – Same thing in black
50 years after Bernd Rosemeyer, records were to be broken again. With a five-valve five-cylinder engine and 650 hp, Audi launched an attack on Mercedes-Benz in 1988 and sent a specially prepared 200 Turbo Quattro to Italy. The Nardò project was preceded by a similar one with NASCAR ambitions, but it was equally disappointing. Opel GT 1100 and 1900 - only flying was more beautiful
In the mid-sixties, Opel had three vehicle types in its range: estates, saloons and coupés based on saloons. There was no real sports car, nor did anyone expect one from a bourgeois brand. This made the 1965 IAA all the more sensational: there was a sports coupé with a racy, Italian-American shape - and a lightning bolt at the front. Three years later, the "Experimental GT" prototype had become the Opel GT production car and customers were enthusiastic about it. This report goes back to the beginnings, shows the history of development, design influences and conflicting goals, refers to test reports from back then and tells how the Opel GT with 1.1 and 1.9 liter engines feel today. The whole thing is garnished with many historical and current pictures, two original brochures and sound samples.
