Maneuverable, reliable and spacious, the "Estafette" delivered goods to even the narrowest old towns at high speed. Let's talk about driving pleasure. That barely tangible, subjective quality criterion, which for most passionate drivers is made up of a certain combination of speed, road holding and engine noise - and is therefore rarely associated with vans. What is a tin box with barely double-digit performance supposed to offer in this respect? There is no perceptible acceleration, lateral dynamics only marginally more. At least there is plenty on the acoustic level, albeit of the wrong kind. In theory, this fulfills all the requirements to make the driving experience boring or even annoying. And yet, in practice, such a rolling sound box is incredibly fun - albeit in a completely different way to a sports car.
