A fundamental characteristic and a cornerstone of the success of events such as the Albisgütli Classics Cars & Bikes is the low entry threshold. There is no need to register, nor does participation cost a lot of money. In the case of the Albisgütli Classics, the entrance fee for vehicles is a budget-friendly five francs, and as a TCS member you can even take part for free.
If the weather also plays along, as it will on July 13, 2025, then success is guaranteed if you can appeal to half of Switzerland's catchment area.
Diversity makes the difference
Due to the aforementioned characteristics, the Albisgütli Classics also shines with an almost unparalleled variety of vehicles.

If you were a movie scout and wanted to "cast" a film that was to show cars from the late fifties or early seventies, for example, you would certainly find enough cars in no time at all.you would certainly find enough one-off everyday vehicles, as well as exotic cars, in no time at all to fill whole streets with period cars.
Magnificent special show
As a special group, the special show at Albisgütli this time featured models from the Fiat 600 series and its descendants from Abarth to the Seat 600 D, Zastava 750 LC or the late one-off from Argentina.

These included a compact hearse and a barn find of a four-seater weighing just over 600 kg with a water-cooled four-cylinder engine in the rear.
International
The selection is also broad if you look at the vehicle manufacturer countries represented.

Whether Germany, Italy, France, Japan, Great Britain or the USA, a wide variety of cars from all nations found their way to the parking lots at the Albisgütli restaurant on July 13, 2025. Even lesser-known countries are represented.
Forgotten everyday cars
Anyone strolling through the rows of cars on the four levels of the parking lot could discover many a former everyday car that has long since been forgotten.

A Lloyd Alexander TS, a Renault Dauphine, a Lancia Fulvia Berlina, a Vauxhall Cresta and an Audi 60 all caught the eye.
Exotic cars
Of course, there was no shortage of exotic cars on July 13, 2025. Whether it was a Triumph Italia, Iso Lele, Ginetta G33 or Rolls-Royce 20/30 with a wooden body from the 1930s, there was something to discover at every turn. And when do you see two Lincoln Continentals from the 1940s parked one behind the other?

And of course, you could also meet friends and acquaintances everywhere, as this is part and parcel of such meetings, even if the number of participants besides the "hard core" varies surprisingly strongly from event to event.
