We were eagerly awaiting the 911 S. With Porsche, expectations are inevitably high. To a large extent, they were fulfilled. The engine's power, the excellent brakes and the car's equipment certainly live up to its great reputation. However, the road handling of this car shows where the limits lie for a rear-engined vehicle. The acceleration possibilities allow any normal driver to reach their limits so quickly that they can easily feel overwhelmed. And since a Porsche is more than just a good car, it is also a status symbol, there is a danger that people will buy this car who would rather not. Incidentally, the top speed is so high that you can hardly drive it, not even on north German highways. It is a constant braking and accelerating. Apart from the additional "S" on the rear, which is not recognizable anyway at the speeds driven, the alloy wheels are the only distinguishing feature.
